This was also which century's dish..hehe..quite sometime I made this, I think before the tragedy....just enjoy the view lah eh...Ingredients:-
1 seabass cleaned, washed with lime juice
100 ml water(add more if want more gravy)
2 tbsp oil for frying
salt to taste
Chopped ingredients:-
5 shallots
3 garlics
3cm young ginger
2 red chilies
Sliced ingredients:-
1/2 red ginger plant bud(bunga kiantan)- I didnt put this
2 kaffir leaves
4-5 birds eyes chillies
Ingredients for sauce:-
2 tbsp chili paste
1 tbsp tomato sauce
2 tbsp plum sauce
2 tbsp sugar
2 tbsp chili sauce
1 tbsp lime juice
1 tsp sweet soy sauce
Method:-
Marinate fish with salt and put aside for 10 minutes. Put fish on a plate that has been grease with some oil and water. Steam fish till cooked. Meanwhile heat oil in wok. Stir fry minced ingredients for 1 minute. Add in all the sauce ingredients and stir well. When boiled, add in all the sliced ingredients, water from the steamed fish and salt. Cook till the gravy thickens a bit and pour onto fish.
