Rich Oreo Choc Brownies
Another yummy recipe from Alongroz. Made this to be given to my next door neighbour who are moving out and at the same time celebrating Chinese New Year..I doubled the ingredients and sure not regretting for trying!!!..Thank you Along!!!..So Sedap!!!..I love it very much !!..the taste of the oreo biscuits in the cake made it very chewy and gooey..!
The brownies are very easy and simple to make..dont have to whisk the eggs till fluffy just till smooth. The whole process just took about an hour including preparing, whisking, folding and pouring mixture onto tray before that place greaseproof paper no need brush with butter just the paper for easy handling after baking.....I used a 13" x 13" tray, and chocolate creamed oreo biscuits.
240g cooking chocolate-(I used semi sweet chocolate)
3 large eggs(I used 4 small eggs)
1 tsp coffee powder( I used nescafe powder)
1 tsp essence vanilla
250g castor sugar(I used 200g)
*40g cocoa powder
*1/2 tbsp Baking powder
*1 tsp salt
11/2 packets oreo cookies-break and mix with 15g flour-(1 pack = 137g but no need so accurate)-(I used about 9 pieces)
Melt chocolate and add butter. Stir till smooth. Whisk eggs, coffee powder, essence vanilla and sugar till smooth. Add in chocolate mixture and stir well. Fold in flour mixture until well mixed. Finally fold in oreos. Bake at 170c for 45 minutes.
