Ayam Panggang Menado


Assalam, Ayam Panggang Menado ni, dimakan dengan nasi putih panas begitu sahaja pun dah sedap..tak payah nak banyak2 lauk lain..maybe kalau nak bolehlah goring sayur aje kalau nak lawankan dengan lauk ni..

Biasalah surf the net untuk cari recipe baru untuk ayam bakar ..terjumpa recipe ni terus bekenan…Kita adjusted some of the ingredients to suits my taste..Rasa ayam ni..bayangkan  rasa asam pedas  sikit..tapi versi kering…boleh imagine tak?..sedap tau..cubalah ..pasti bertambah lagi nasi tu..hehehe..

Preparations

MAIN INGREDIENTS
2 spring chicken marinate with salt & lime juice
4 pandan leaves
1 cup water
2 tablespoon sweet soya sauce
salt & sugar to taste

GROUND SPICE PASTE:
10 stalks red chillies + some chillies padi
4 stalk lemon grass

laksa leaves
4 medium size big onions
2 inches ginger
5 cloves garlic
4 medium size tomatoes
4 teaspoons coriander seeds
1 teaspoon cumin
2 teaspoon black pepper
2 inches teaspoon belachan

Method

Marinate the chicken with lime juice and salt for 10 minutes.
Heat oil in a wok or frying pan over medium heat and add in pandan leaves and sauté spice paste until fragrant, stir continuously to prevent burning.
Add water and laksa leaves, adjusting seasonings to taste. Turn off heat.
Pour this over chicken and marinate further for at least an hour in the refrigerator.
Heat charcoal fire or pre-heat oven to 200ْC, grill for 30 minutes (until chicken is cooked through and golden brown). (Ayu grill on aluminium foil in oven for 1 hr plus). Chop into small pieces before serving.

    Mesti harum semerbak time dok bako tu..tengok bahan2 tu pun dah tau keenakannya tu..ni kalau buat time puasa mmg sedapppp neh

  7. Kak Ayu, lama saya baru bisa mampir, baru buka komputer neh..
    wah saya baru tahu ada ayam panggang menado yang cukup populer, kalau di sini kita sebutnya ayam rica-rica kak, ada yang versi berkuah dan ada yang versi bakar/panggang dan memang ayam rica-rica ini khas dari Menado-Sulawesi Utara

    pakai daun kemangi/Indonesian basil sedapnya... benar kak, bisa bertambah nasi makan ini ha ha ha...

    ah enggak apa2 lah Monica, sibuk ya..
    tulah ayam panggang ni..bahan2nya memang macam berkuah ..itu yang akak siram ke atas ayam bila nampak dah kering sikit bumbunya..beberapa kali disiram supaya ayam tidak hangus & kering...
    oh ayam rica rica bergini juga caranya ya..baru akak tahu..hehe
    kann..bisa bertambah nasi ...hehe

    hahahaha...itu sudah pasti..tanpa cilipadi maka pincanglah masakkan ku..
    hahaha..tak boleh dipisahkan...
    recipe asal guna daun selasih..tapi disebabkan kita tak ada stok, kita guna daun kesum..:)
