I baked this last week actually, Marsya wanted chocolate cakes, but my cocoa powder stock just ran out after making Iqram's birthday cake...so for this, I used those cocoa powder that for making hot chocolate, which also can be used for baking since that is the only one available...Well since I found Valrhona Cocoa Powder and been using it since then, I felt that no other cocoa powder cant beat them..(ceh!..mengada2 pulak ya)..hehe..
Just look at the colour, if were to use Valrhona Cocoa Powder the colour would be darker(black) like my Steam Chocolate Cake and the taste would be richer..I baked in my small bundt pans and after that the left baked cakes I kept them in the fridge for servings, like those 'SARA LEE' pound cakes..bring it out half hour before serving..
Apa2 pun, the cake has finished caused Marsya has been eating it for breakfast every morning..
Updated 25/4/2012- I received a comment about a year plus ago as the comments went to my spam box...saying that I should link the web that I took the recipe from..., so here it is below..
To Puzzlemaker I am so sorry that I did not add the link to your web for this recipe, although I stated where the recipe I've got it from.. as during this period frankly & honestly I did not know how to do it, till somebody taught me how to do it in later part of my blogging activities... if you see my previous entries some of those I did not link it was not because I wanted to gain fame or called it my recipe but as the reason given above simply because I did not know how..

ReplyDeleteYour blog and photographs are very nicely presented. I'm flattered you liked my Chocolate Pound Cake Recipe.
ReplyDeleteIt is standard, appreciated, responsible and required in blogging and publishing on the web to gain permission first if you desire to republish and post other people's recipes online. After receiving permission, you should then link (clickable link) directly to the source. Citing it only is not acceptable. Not everyone is aware of this. I have copyright authority to ask you to remove my recipe, but I'm not going to do that. Your pictures are beautiful and your writing and article are fabulous. But at the very least I do expect a backlink where we share related information on the web and give credit to each other. Instead of "Source: Squidoo" it should read, "Find the original Chocolate Pound Cake Recipe here." You are required to do this for each and every recipe you copy from other sites. Permission and backlinks to each and every recipe. Linking out will actually help your blog as you gain the trust of visitors. Check out the guestbook at my article to see what I mean - I have recently linked out to a related site to add value to my article. And say hello in the guestbook, tell how the recipe turned out for you etc. like others are doing.
Thanks.
