Roti Canai Pedas

Assalammualaikum, tengah pusing memikirkan nak masak apa tak petang nanti?..Hehe..samalah kita..tengah terfikir2 dan tercari2 idea nak berbuka apa hari ni ..begitulah kan setiap hari sepanjang Ramadan ni..bayangkan kita sampai selongkar koleksi recipe  yang kita ada dalam file2 yang dah berabuk kat computer area ni tau.. Prints out yang kita print way before kita ada blog pun kita buka balik..hahaha.. selak punya selak terjumpa recipe ni yang kita print dalam tahun 2008!!.. Pernah juga buat dulu  tapi semasa belum ada blog lagi lah...

Recipe yang menggunakan leftovers pratas dan idea dari bonda Mamafami, blogger masakan yang selalu kita singgah kedapur mayanya dulu dan infact sekarang jugalah..Kalau Mamafami menggunakan leftovers, kita pula purposely fried my instant onion flavour pratas for this..Ini actually side dish for my kids, sebab waktu berbuka hari yang kedua kemarin kita masak bubur kampung  si Iqram especially tak suka makan bubur sebab katanya makan bubur is for sick people!!..So idea decided to fried this for him tercetus sudah..Mama dia kalau bubur kampung 2 mangkuk besar pun boleh habis..hehe..so maybe this can be your side dish for today cubalah kan, mana tahu anak2 suka dan orang tua pun boleh makan juga ..To Mamafami & mum thank you for the recipe..Minta izin dipanjang2kan disini pula for others to try juga ya..
Roti Canai Pedas

Ingredients :

5 pieces leftovers pharatas/roti canai ~ shredded-(Ayu purposely fried new instant pratas for this- I used onion flavour)
1/2 big onion sliced-(Ayu added this)
5 shallots ~ minced
2 garlics ~ minced
3 tablespoon chillie paste (depends on how hot and spicy you want it to be)
salt to taste + serbuk perasa-(Ayu added this)
tamarind juice
1 tablespoon sugar-(Ayu didnt add this)
2 eggs-(Ayu used 3)
Cooking oil

Method :

1. Heat a bit of cooking oil in a wok.Saute sliced onion till soften.
2. Add in chillie paste and fry till fragrant then add in the minced shallots and garlic. Stir.
3. Add in tamarind juice, sugar and salt.
4. Add in eggs and stir for a minute or two.
5. Add in the shredded pharatas/roti canai and stir to mix.(Ayu fried till slightly crisp then turn off heat)
6. Ready to serve.

  1. Salaam Ayu. Terima kasih sudi cuba ye. Sebenarnya yang leftovers ni kalau dicampuradukkan, akan jadi sedap tau. My mom's friend pernah cerita kat dia, she will mix all the leftovers kuah and sayur then add nasi... thaa dhaaa... jadi nasi goreng you! Tapi lom ler pernah try lak... hehehehe

    this recipe..heheh wah leftovers kuah & sayur then jadi nasi goreng..that is somenting new to me..actually kalau kita makan nasi with all the lauk makan macam biasa dalam perut pun dah jadi nasi goreng jugakan mama..hehehe..
