Bittergourd with Taukwa

 

 Bittergourd one of my favourite veggies...of course when you cooked it the right way..hehe, nothing to describe this dish just thought fried it this way instead the normal fried with eggs..

 Ingredients:-
1 large bittergourd-cut in half then cut each half into slices about 0.5cm thick, sprinkle with salt and let it stand for about 15 minutes, wash-(1 biji pria besar-dipotong dua dan hiris nipis setebal 0.5cm, gaulkan dengan garam dan biarkan selama 15 minit dan cuci)
300g shrimps-(udang)
2 large pieces haed beancurd-cut into squares and deep fry-(2 keping taukwa dipotong dadu dan goreng)
1 cup coconut milk-(1 cawan santan)
salt to taste-(garam)
4 tbsp oil-(4 sudu besar minyak)

*10 dried chillies-soak to soften-(10 cili kering direndam)
*1 medium sized onion-(1 bawang besar size sedang)
*1 clove garlic-(1 biji bawang putih)


Method:-
Heat oil, add *ground ingrdients and salt and fry till fragrant. Add shrimps and fry for a few minutes. Add taukwa and coconut milk, and bring to the boil. When gravy thickens add bittergourd and cook till fairly dry, stirring now and then.-(Panaskan minyak dan tumis bahan *kisar hingga wangi. Masukkan udang dan biarkan seketika. Masukkan taukwa dan santan dan biarkan ia mendidih. Bila kuah sudah pekat masukkan pria dan masak hingga agak kering dan kacau sekejap2.)

Salam Kak Ayu...Lama gak terintai-intai resipi peria ni....Pernah jumpa yang ngan daging....ni ngan udang pula...syoknya...mesti cuba ni...Ringkas jeee dan sesuailah dikala kesuntukan masa
