Ok, this was the brownies that I baked straight away after I saw the beautiful & tempting pictures of brownies in Mdm Rima's cyberkitchen... when she posted in her blog the other day..for I was very excited since most of the ingredients required are available at home, except that of the hot fudge or the smuckers chocolate syrup cos by the time I wanted to pour onto the brownies I realised it was way long expired since 2010!!!!..didnt noticed it as it was way behind the cabinet..hahaha
As usual there sure to be hiccups when I baked something..I realised too I ran short of oreo cookies as I used a bigger tray for this...tak cukup ler..aduhh!!!..to make things even I've decided to 'split' the oreo cookies and arranged them accordingly..so dah ternipislah lapisan cookies tu, ada yang bercream dan ada yang tak ....Oh yes I used the chocolate cream oreos instead of the berry ones..
Then after that I've got stuck again..I wasnt sure whether I should bake the cookies dough or not..Method said preheat oven..so I assumed I should baked it lah..hahah..After baking I poured the brownies batter on it then baked it again..then I TERFORGET totally about it until I TEROVER BAKE ..ha ambik aku!!!..my brownies turned out to be slightly crispy,(macam cookieslah gitu) but after the next day it was ok & slightly chewy sebab mungkin dah masuk angin as I left it outside at room temperature..
Surprisingly my kids makan awak!!!..hahah..Dia orang ingat cookies..padahal brownies yang dah terover masak..hehe..the taste is definitely nicelah if only I've got it right and got the fudgy & chewy brownies this recipe is definitely a keeperlah..Thanks Rima for sharing, if you read this can tell me where I went wrong tak?..hehehe
ps:- Sssh....Today's posts are all autopost..got to go to Iqram's school for parents teacher's meeting this morning ..and got to prepare some bbq stuff for tonight & the coming weekend..
Updated:- The cookie dough dont have to bake first .Just spread the dough then arrange the biscuits and pour the chocolate batter on it then baru bake in the oven.

Chocolate Chips Cookies n' Oreo Fudge Brownie Bars

Ingredients
1 cup (2 sticks) butter, softened-(Ayu used 225g)
1 cup granulated sugar-(Ayu used 1/4 cup only)
3/4 cup light brown sugar
2 large eggs
1 Tablespoon pure vanilla extract - I also added a tsp of coffee oil :op -(Ayu just used vanilla essence)
2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
2 cups (12 ounces) milk chocolate chips - i used semi sweet
1 pkg Berry Burst Ice Cream Oreos-(Ayu used 5 packets of 3s-cos only that left- Chocolate cream oreos)
1/4 cup hot fudge topping-(Ayu used chocolate ganache)

Method
Preheat oven to 175C. Cream the butter and both sugars in a large bowl with an electric mixer on medium speed for 3-5 minutes. Add the eggs and vanilla and mix well to thoroughly combine. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda and salt, then slowly incorporate into the mixer until the flour is just combined. Stir in chocolate chips. Spread the cookie dough in the bottom of a 9×13(Ayu used 13x13) baking dish that’s been lined with wax paper and sprayed with cooking spray. Top with a layer of Oreos.

Super Fudgy Brownie
Ingredients

tablespoons (1 stick) unsalted butter, cut into pieces, plus more for pan -

cup all-purpose flour (spooned and leveled) - 130g
1/4
cup unsweetened cocoa powder - i used cocoa berry

tsp baking powder
1/2
tsp salt

ounces semisweet or bittersweet chocolate, chopped - 225g - i used 64% cocao
berry-(Ayu used mixed of dark chocolate & semisweet)

1/4 cups sugar - 280g-(Ayu used 1/2 cup only)

Method
- In a small bowl, whisk flour,
cocoa, baking powder, and salt; set aside.
- Place butter and chocolate in a
large heatproof bowl set over (not in) a saucepan of gently simmering water.
Heat, stirring occasionally, until smooth, 2 to 3 minutes; remove bowl from
pan. Add sugar; mix to combine. Add eggs, and mix to combine. Add flour
mixture; mix just until moistened (do not overmix).
- Pour the brownie batter over
the cookie dough and Oreos. Cover with foil and bake at 175C for 30 minutes.
Remove foil and continue baking for an additional 15-25 minutes. Let cool
completely before cutting — brownies may still be gooey in the middle when
still warm, but will set up perfectly once cooled.-(Ayu poured the brownie batter over the cooked dough and baked further from here..seems like Ayu overbaked it and the brownies turns out to be a bit crunchy..heheh but next day it taste chewylah)
