Asam Pedas Ikan Pari
Oh yes, I want to share something that I witnessed yesterday while we were on the way to JB...as usual we reached the Singapore Immigration Checkpoint, the traffic was slow, but still moving...and as usual also every car follow slowly and closely behind each car...we saw a lane that was quite smooth moving and Mr Hubby decided to enter this lane...in front of us was a white Honda car licenced plate from Malaysia...the car in front of this car has just cleared his passport, and moved away...the white Honda car, was at stalled..Mr Hubby horned giving a sign to the driver in front to move on..but no reaction...we waited for at least 2 minutes...cause we cant reverse back as other cars were already lining up at the back...we waited again for another 1 minute, but still no reaction..
Some of the cars behind us already moved to another lane, so Mr Hubby made a reverse and move to the side and drive slowly to proceed to the next lane, as we pass this White Honda, we saw the driver was leaning his head against his back with his mouth wide opened!! ..not moving..We thought or rather I thought that he was dead!! straight away came into my mind that maybe he 'kena' heart attack or what, then died ...the officer in the booth was looking at us too, when he realised the car didn't move forward..he came out of his booth and went over to the White Honda car...he knocked on the wind screen, and you know what? ....the bloody driver was SLEEPING!!!...
Wah!! we all in the car, was cursing and swearing "*#^&*#"....imagine sleeping when you are about to be checked by the officer...?Aiyoh,!! ama apa!!!..
Cili kisar (homemade)
50g cili kering, digunting halus dan rendam air panas
5 ulas bawang putih
1/2 biji bawang besar
1 inci halia
1 inci kunyit hidup
1 cawan air
Basuh cili kering yang telah direndam tadi. Toskan dan masukkan kedalm blender bersama bawang putih, bawang besar, halia, kunyit hidup dan air. Kisar hingga hancur. Masukkan dalam botol dan simpan dalam peti sejuk. Rahsia cili kisar ini tahan lama ialah kerana ia telah direndam air panas.
Asam Pedas Ikan:-
1 cawan cili kisar
3/4 cwan minyak masak
6 ekor ikan kembung/pari/merah/dll-(Ayu gantikan dengan ikan pari)
10 tangkai daun kesum
2 tangkai daun kari-(Tak letak sebab tak ada stok)
3 cawan air
1 keping asam gelugur
garam & perasa secukupnya
Panaskan minyak dan tumiskan cili kisar hingga garing. Masukkan air , ikan dan masak hingga mendidih. Masukkan daun kesum, daun kari, asam gelugur, garam dan perasa. Setelah ikan empuk boleh angkat. Anda boleh tambah kacang bendir atau tomato jika suka. Asam pedas ini istimewa rasanya kerana dimasukkan daun kari yang menambahkan aromanya.
