Mee Goreng Blackpepper
This was our breakfast this morning... June holidays have started, all my kids are around.. so semua nak makan...tried this recipe from Kakasma ..Sedap! Thank you kak..My son, Hasif gave 4 star out of 5!!..boleh dan akan buat lagi...kalau mee mesti laku rumah ni...
Ingredients:-
500g yellow noodles
200g beef sliced thinly (boiled and take the water a bit)
prawns and squids to estimate
1 big onion sliced thinly
3 garlics crushed/minced
1 tbsp black pepper powder
1 tsp white pepper powder
2 tbsp black pepper sauce
2 tbsp oyster sauce
1 tomato sliced thinly
handful of thinly sliced cabbage
1 red chili sliced thinly
bean sprout
Chinese celery & spring onions for garnishing
Method:-
Heat oil and stir fry onions, garlics and chili till soft. Add in prawns, squids and beef and some of the water from the boiled beef and let it for a while.
Add in oyster sauce, black pepper sauce, white pepper and black pepper and stir well.
Add some water if mixture is dry and add salt and MSG to taste and stir well.Add noodles and stir well. Lastly add in bean sprout, cabbage and tomato stir well . Ready. Garnish with celery, spring onions and squeeze lime juice..
