Gado Gado

Ingredients for Gado Gado:-
long beans- immerse in boiling water
cabbage- immerse in boiling water
eggs boiled
tauhu fried put aside
tempe fried and put aside
fish crackers(keropok)
satay rice

Ingredients for gravy:-
250g groundnut (fried and grounded)
2 tbsp chili paste*
1 tbsp coriander powder*
1/2 tsp cumin powder*
1/2 tsp fennel powder*
1 tsp minced garlic*
2 tbsp minced onions*
1 lemon grass bruised
1/2 inch galangal bruised
2 cups water
1/2 cup tamarind juice
1-2 tbsp sugar (to taste)
salt and MSG to taste

Mix all *ingredients in a bowl. Heat oil in wok. Saute *mixture till fragrant and oil goes up the surface. Add in lemon grass and galangal stir well. Add in water and tamarind juice. Stir well and let it simmer for a while. Add in groundnut, stir well. Add in sugar, salt and MSG to taste. When ready serve with the gado gado salads.
