This was for lunch yesterday...thought of making beef rendang, then I thought..ermm wanted something that didn't use too much of coconut milk, so decided on this...for this beef sambal, I used diced tomatoes instead of tamarind juice..and use lots of sliced onions instead of minced ones, garlics, ginger..boiled the beef with some minced ginger first for browning then fried for a while..then the normal procedures of making sambal...
