Sotong Percik Ramadhan

Today's dish we had this.. yes thats the name of this dish.. Since Ramadhan is coming let us 'celebrate' and welcoming the month with Sotong Percik Ramadhan...

8 medium size squids
10 dried chillies*
5 birds eye chillies*
5 red chillies*
1 big onion*
2" ginger*
2" galangal*
2 lemon grass*
1 turmeric leaf slice
4 kaffir leaves slice
1 lemon grass bruised
1 tbsp tamarind juice
salt and MSG to taste

Cleaned and cut squids. Marinate with some salt and bake or grill squids in oven till cook. When ready arrange on plate. Heat oil and saute blended ingredients* till oil goes up the surface. Add in lemon grass, turmeric leaf, kaffir leave, tarmarind juice together with some salt and msg. Let it simmer till cook. Pour mixture onto arranged squids. Ready
