Kupang Masak Halia

Sedap!! that was what I said, after 'testing 123' while stirring this...haha...


1 kg fresh mussels(original recipe using lala)
*3cm ginger minced
*1 garlic
*2 shallots minced
3 tbsp chili paste (I used birds eyes chillies - crushed)
1 large onions cut in rings
2cm dried tamarind pulp
some water
salt and MSG to taste

Heat oil and saute blended ingredients till fragrant. Add in chili paste and stir well. Add in mussels, dried tamarind pulp and stir till incorporated.Add in some water so that the mussels will cook.Lastly add in ring onions, salt and MSG to taste. Cook till mussels wide 'open'. Ready
